Westfir 30k/50k

50k: 7,150 feet of elevation gain  |  30k: 4,066 feet of elevation gain

Welcome to the Westfir 30k/50k. The 50k route will take you on the famous ATCA route backwards. This route is consistently ranked in the top five best mountain bike routes in the entire state! The 50k will take you up the famous Alpine trail before you do a lollipop loop on the Cloverpatch trail, and Tire Mountain trail. You will then go up on the Alpine trail until you get to Windy Pass. From there you will finish by blasting down the alpine trail back to the start/finish line. You will have great views of deep woods as well as open views of the Willamette National Forest. This will be a very challenging 50k with over 7,000 feet of elevation gain! There will be three aid stations that you will hit a total of four times. 

The 30k will stay inclusively on the Alpine Trail to Windy Pass, before bombing back down the trail. It is an out and back course. There are two aid stations that you will hit a total of three times.

AWARDS
1st place male/female in both races will receive a free pair of Altra trail running shoes. Top 3 men and women will get an award in both races. Top masters male/female in both races will receive an award. We will also have raffles.

GETTING HERE
The race venue is located at the Office Covered Bridge parking area in Westfir, approximately 40 miles southeast of Eugene, and 100 miles southwest of Bend. Westfir is a gorgeous town that is totally submerged in the Willamette National Forest. 

PARKING
There is plenty of parking at the office covered bridge parking lot. For overfill parking you can use the private land area in the back. The gate will be open for parking. Runners who want to camp the night before the race can use this area to do so. 

POST RACE CELEBRATION
After your run you will receive a hot meal provided by our sponsors, and are welcome to enjoy some adult beverages provided by Ninkasi Brewing.
