Storm The Castle Half Marathon

2,815 feet of elevation gain 

Welcome to Storm The Castle Half Marathon. Come and enjoy the beautiful trails of Kings Castle and Castle Rock. This race is an out and back course with a lollipop loop where you will start and finish at the Mckenzie Community Center. The race showcases 2,815 feet during the first 6.5 miles. Once you hit the summit you will be rewarded  with amazing views of the surrounding mountains including the sisters mountains. Run the race for the views, stay for the fun.

AWARDS
Costume Themed! 1st place male/female will receive a free pair of Altra trail running shoes. Top 3 male/female overall will receive an award. Top masters male/female will receive an award. Will also give an award to the best costume, and other fun awards, including King & Queen of the Castle! Award ceremony will be at 1:00 PM

Complimentary lunch provided and beer provided by Ninkasi.

GETTING HERE
This event is staged at the Upper McKenzie Community Center in Blue River, approximately 50 miles east of Eugene. The community center is right next to the famous Mckenzie river, and is in the Willamette National Forest. 

PARKING
There is parking at the Upper McKenzie Community Center. Carpooling is encouraged. 

POST RACE CELEBRATION
After the race enjoy a hot meal and adult beverages provided by Ninkasi Brewing.
